Securus only employs trained armed and unarmed guards licensed
by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
We conduct extensive background checks on all new candidates.
All employees must be drug free with no criminal record and
must be personally interviewed by one of the officers of the
company.
Unlike most other security companies, Terra Securus requires
much more from new employees than simply passing pre-employment
screening. Before new employees are permitted fieldwork they
must successfully complete an intensive training program
covering law, policy, crime prevention, investigating, terrorism,
the use of force, tactics, power of arrest and more. Even
then training does not end because each employee is required
to successfully complete continuous in-service training on
a regular basis.
Because Terra Securus cross-trains our employees in our
other divisions many of the guards serving our clients are
also apprentices in private investigation and executive protection.
We believe this creates a better workforce than the non-career
minded security guards of other companies and is a free benefit
to our clients.
Terra Securus also contracts Off-Duty Police Officers by
request. Please call for rates of service.
